Jammed DVD Player
I have a Dell desktop -Inspiron 660. Yesterday I tried to play a DVD for the first time in months. Accidentally put in DVD wrong side up. Removed DVD and reinserted. DVD tray doesn't come out. It's jammed in there pretty good. Am afraid to force anything removing. Thoughts? Thanks.

jwnova,
Was there a small pin hole on the front of the dvd drive? If you tried that and it didn't work then, the disk may be in a bind and causing it not to open. The only thing to do now is to get another drive or take the one apart.

jwnova,
Do you see a small hole on the front of the cd/dvd tray? If so, get a paper clip and push it in the hole and the tray should open Make sure the system is off.
