Need some help with adding a graphics card.
System Inspiron 545 MT
I would like to have dual monitors. Currently i have a 512 MB ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics card.
First off i believe i need a second graphics card (or purchase a better one) to have dual monitors. So i am just going to add a second Radeon HD 4350, as this one seems to be good enough for what i use my computer for.
The question i need asnwering is....Would i need to uprgrade my PCU/Poer supply (if thats what its called) to run both?
Thats what i origionally thought, but i cant seem to get them to work.
What do you mean by the same port?
I have connected them up before but my second monitor doesnt pick up any signal (this one i connected with DVI) But i have used it on its own with DVI.
Is there perticular settings i need to change?
The Dell Visiontek 900273 Dell Part Number A2829975 definitely supports 2 monitors.
You have to go into control panel and enable desktop extension onto the second monitor.

The card you have now supports 2 monitors--1 vga and 1 dvi. Specs HERE.
Just make sure the monitors have the same port.
