pci-e 3 support
Anyone know where i can find info on when optiplex started supporting pci-e 3.0 ? Or does it ?
Looking at replacing a 960 tower but would like optiplex with pci-e 3 support

Well after a lot of looking around it looks like around 2015 dell started getting pci-e 3 into optiplex's.

problems with backward compatibility delayed the launch of PCI Express 3.0 its line code (BIOS) as well as power and speed.
Skylake 100 Series motherboard chipsets are PCIe 3.0
