Alright heres the deal. Im not sure which area of the computer this would fall under so I am posting it in General Hardware... so here goes

Just recently I attempted to install a new DVD/CD burner into my dell... and when I re-hooked up everything again and tried to start the computer up it came to a blue screen which stated:

 

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer, if this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, defragmentation or backup utilities, check your hard drive configuration, and check for any updated drivers, Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption and then restart your computer

Now I have attempted to run the computer in every safe mode there is, start it normally, and last known good configuration. Windows just wont start and it continueously goes to the blue screen. I have run all possible tests on my computer in the hardware diagnostics program and they all pass. At this point I am at a loss. I even took the DVD/CD burner out of the computer and tried that. I need to know what to do. I cannot get my windows to start. If someone could help me I would be more than appreciative. Thank you.
