most of the time I start my computer I get five beeps pause of few seconds and then 2 beeps. Initially, it was five beeps on;y but the last two have been started recently. what is it about? how can I solve this problem?
The beep sequence refers to the CMOS battery - or the clock chip. Replace the reserve (CMOS) battery -- it's usually a CR-2032 button cell. If you need details, post the model number (i.e., Inspiron N5110, XPS 9333, etc.).
