I recently purchased an Insipiron N5030 with Windows 7 and went to download some video to it.  When I installed the camcorder's driver from the manufacturer's webiste, my computer said that it didn't install properly, and when I connected the camcorder, it didn't recognize it.  I checked the issue with my old XP machine, and it worked fine.  The support at my manufacturer said the issue wasn't with them.
