Crashing

Hi, N5050, dell sent me the reinstallation disk, since reinstalling the disk I have major problems, firstly the utilities disk was outdated so I went to the website and did a diagnosis of what I needed, but here are the problems

this is recurring quite often, pc crashes, I get a blue screen and then a black screen that says

1. Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller Series v1.24 (10/07/10) PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable. PXE-MOF: exciting PXE rom  reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected bot=ot device and press any key

I have tried the dell diagnostic website, it gets 3/4 way through the scan and crashes, I have tried the on board diagnostics but again it crashes half way through,

Any advise would be truly grateful

thank you so much

It's time to replace the hard drive, which is failing.  You'll need a new, 2.5" 9.5 mm or slimmer SATA notebook drive.

No, but a dust-clogged heatsink could cause that - along with overheating that leads to premature drive failure.
