Linda,

Did you install the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the notebook system utility and the chipset drivers and follow the order.

Linda,

Let me see if I can help.

Can you try running the Finding System Information Tool (preferred) Or hit the Windows Key and the R keys at the same time. Type

systeminfo.txt

REMOVE THE PRODUCT ID and post the rest of the information back here.

Hit the Windows Key and the R keys and the same time.

Hit the Ctrl and the V Keys, at the same time

Hit enter. A notepad document will appear. Please remove the Product ID Number.

Linda,

Using Internet Explorer go and download the drivers listed below and install in the same order.

Try installing the Notebook System Utility.

Then install in this order...

Intel Huron River (HM67)

Realtek RTS5128 Card Reader

Renesas USB3.0 Host Controller

Then install...

Realtek RTL8111E Gigabit Ethernet Controller

The computer should be able to connect with the ethernet cable.

Do the system info again. It should change and give more information.
