I am trying to get my Vostro 1500 to play threw my LG Flat screen but, it is saying no signal. I hooked up my friends PC and it worked. I think I need to download a driver but not sure which one. I need help.

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. How are you connected the laptop to the TV, is it through an HDMI cable? Connect the TV to the laptop with the HDMI cable(while both are turned on). Once they are connected, change the Input on the TV to HDMI 1or HDMI 2. Restart the system.

Thank you

Have you tried the hot key function, something like FN-F4 or similar. if that doesn't work, here is the xp driver - www.geforce.co.uk/.../44981. let me know if you are running windows 7

Hi,
This means you are using a VGA Cable to connect. Once you connect the system to the TV, press the FN + F8 which is the key combination to move to an external monitor.
Thank you

The television says RGB-PC. It is not the HDMI or HDMI2. The connection screws into the t.v. . My friend hooked his computer up the same way and it worked fine. I had my harddrive replaced and now I have this problem.

Hi,
If you use a VGA to connect, then you need to press Fn + F8 for the display to move to the TV. Did you try that?
Thank you

I tried to download. It said the driver could not find compatible graphic hardware.

After atempting to install it comes back, "This graphic driver could not find graphic hardware." Of course, after over an hour of downloading. I clicked on auto detect gpu also.
