How do I fix this?

OK on my laptop (a Inspiron B130.) where you would plug the power cord in to the thing inside the laptop is off so I can't charge my labtop in anyway so is there a way to fix this?

    If it's far enough gone that the jack is broken off the mainboard, you'd need a new mainboard.

    They cost about $400; try Dell parts or parts-people.com

    Is there anyother way to fix it? Because that's stupid if I have to pay almost the same amount I bought the laptop for.

    ebay is the best source.
     
     
    like this, for example.
     
    working motherboard, 512MB memory stick for $200.
     
    i have no idea why people "recommend" parts-people considering it is all rip off prices, and only dumb people get ripped off on ebay
