Hi there. I have a 1525 with a variety of problems and I'm beginning to suspect the hard drive - perhaps somebody could do a quick diagnosis:

At startup I get an error message about the AC supply - ran a diagnostic which gave me an error code 3600.0749 which means that the adapter is faulty (it's new) or the board is faulty.

At also freezes up with mnotonous regularity and only switching it off will rectify this.

Finally, it's getting really slow especially at startup. I had problems similar to this with my PC and managed to put a new HDD in before it expired.

Any ideas?

I've scanned with MSE and Malawarebytes. Done a disk check and run a full diagnostic.
