Inspiron 9100 Help...

Hello.  I have a semi-newly acquired Dell Inspiron 9100 Notebook, which I ordered in early May.  This evening, it fell on the ground and a coaster fell on top of it, smashing into the display, causing damage to the pixels.  I was wondering if my 1 Year Limited Warranty covered this type of damage, and if so, who I should contact about it.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your time!

Sincerely,

Laura

Nope - a warrenty covers manufacturing defects, not accidental damage. You are going to have to pay for a new LCD, which is about $200-$250 on eBay, or many $$$ from Dell, plus installation.

Next time though, you might want to get complete care, which would have covered that damage.
