Hi,
I'm having the same problem with a hyper sensitive touchpad, but I am not able to follow the instructions above. When I select the "mouse and pointing devices" setting, it doesn't find a touchpad (only the external mouse I have) so I can't adjust the touchpad settings! Any ideas.
Just by way of info, I just recently had a new hard drive installed, so I'm wondering if this is some sort of a driver issue. Somehow I have to get this problem fixed or just turn off the touch pad (incidentally, how do you do that?!) because typing is a nightmare!
thanks!
Keeley
