Hi,

 

sometimes when I boot up the laptop, Latitude D505, I get an error "Fatal Disk Error".  If I power off the laptop and then reboot this time however pressing the battery at the bottom of the laptop in tight to the laptop, the computer boots up fine.  Sometimes when the error happens I click out the battery, click back in the battery and try to boot up again, this time successfully.

 

Has anyone had any experiences similar to this, loose battery, etc?
