new Battery issue

I bought a new battery because my previous battery died.

This new battery Turn off the laptop while 30% battery still remains and it stop charging battery when it reaches 100% and if my laptop keeps running and battery become low again it plug in charger but it do not start charging i have to shut down my laptop then it start charging otherwise in running mode it do not charge.

Please help me with this problem.

    Please reply us with the system model number, serial number, part number or PPID number located on the Battery so that I can check and confirm if the battery is compatible with the system.

    Also, I would suggest you to run a thorough test on the battery. You can download Support assist from the link below and run the PC CHECKUP on Battery to check for issues

    The test shows that the battery is working properly. However, please update the correct BIOS update on your system by putting the correct service tag. Also, please refer to the link below for locating service tag on your Dell system
