Order Problem - Wrong Order
I just ordered an XPS laptop. I made quite a few upgrades which came to a total of ~$2300 AUD. In ~2-3 days, Dell sent out an email confirming that the payment with my credit card had been authorized and the order process had begun, however, the amount of money they had processed was less than $2000 AUD. I then went online to check the order details and it seems as if none of my upgrades have been processed, everything had been set to the default.
I immediately sent an email to Dell questioning this, but am yet to receive a reply. According to the website, the laptop has passed the manufacture stage and is ready to be shipped to Australia.
Has anyone ever had a problem like this, and how does Dell usually respond to such circumstances? I know that it isnt a mistake ive made because immediately after i sent my order i received an automated email telling me that they had received my order, and the order details they quoted were correct. It was the second email they sent me that indicates something has gone wrong.
Thanks in advance,
Dan.
