hi everyone.kinda new here, just have a Question about my windows password,
The thing is.I had an old computer that had a password to protect anyone from open my windows.
Meaning that before anything opend on my computer,The password box would show up.this was not the password that anyone could cancle out.If you didn't know the password there was no way you were gitting on my computer.
If anyone knows what I am talking about please help me.I just can't leave my computer home without someone gitting on it.I am gitting to the point where I want to take the moniter with me when I go somewhere. Thanks if you can help me in advance.

You could always set a password in the BIOS; just don't forget it!koraysgirl29

That is great thank's for the thought.I did manage to figure it out though.
Sence I am through Me now and not 98,I had to push Delete to get to system setting's.
Then in security it asked me to save change's twice.I am happy someone
Replyed though.Thank you very much.Crystal Er

The reason it asks for old password is to ensure that the person setting new password is really supposed to be able to do that. If no password previously set, the old password it is looking for is a blank field.
