PCI Simple Communications Controller Driver missing??

This "My Dell" application in my computer says driver for PCI Simple Communications Controller is missing. where to find it? (I'm in windows 8.1 and i installed all the drivers suggested by dell-support website after entered service tag). I have an Inspiron N5110

and another question

After switching to windows 8.1 those three function buttons stopped working(they just lit up. nothing more happens). They worked fine with win 7 except for the middle one(the one with circled wrench symbol). Any solution??

Hi Neji_Hyuga

This seems to be chipset driver not installed correctly. I would suggest you to run the Intel driver utility on the system using the link below and update the drivers applicable.

Also, if the Dell quickset application is not installed the hot key will not work. Please enter your service tag # on the link below, select the OS, then download the Dell Quickset application from Application section onto the system and install it.

Please let me know if this helps.

Hello DELL-Ravi.

Thanks for your respond. But there's no chipset driver available for windows 8 64-bit. There's one chipset driver available for win 7/vista :emotion-7:

INTEL AMT SOL Driver

Under Chipset.

When win8 drivers cannot be found use win7 or vista drivers.
