please help me
hi
I have a very big problem
and hope to get help from here
My laptop is dell inspiron 5520 core i7
first i install admin password so no one can change bios setting
one day i want to enter bios and edit setting
but i can not find unlock setup option in bios menu
you can see this picture

please help me
how I can enter admin password if there is no unlock setup

I want to unlock bios to change boot option but the bios is completely locked

windows 8 can not run on UEFI
Does the system have Windows 8 on it? If so, and it's the Dell-installed Windows 8, the system should be running in UEFI mode - not BIOS mode. In that mode, the Windows boot manager (i.e., on the hard drive) will always be the default boot device.

Hi mustafaabdd3,
Based on the picture that you have shared, the “Admin Password” and “System Password” have not been setup. “Password Change” option is listed as “Denied” most probably due to the same reason. Did you check if you can edit and set the “Password Change” to “Permitted”?
And, as correctly pointed out by ejn63, if your computer has Windows 8, Boot List Option will be UEFI.

What are you trying to unlock? You don't have a password set.
