Not sure its faulty... more like a faulty error message... The adapter that comes with the Precision 7510 is the same as the one that comes with the TB15 (same part number). Both make the same error.
It's possible both adapters are faulty (or mis-labeled). If it's not the adapter, there's a problem with the DC jack in the system - or with the system board itself. All would be covered under warranty.

Any one any idea on this error ? Message appears at Bios post stage... i.e. early on just after switching on.

Call Dell and have the power adapter replaced under warranty.
