I want my windows admin folks to be able to see more details about their hyper-v environment, however, I do not want them to be able to provision/create luns. I only want them to be able to view their hyper-v environment through SCOM. I realize there are some great things in the ESI suite, however, the fact is we do not have any other trained storage admins, combined with shoot from the hip personalities, I can only imagine the headache I would have. I tried creating local/global users on arrays for ESI for Windows and even the Operator role could provision. I was hoping this would be greyed out.
