1703FP in linux
Hi, I have a dell optiplex GX270 with a 1703 FP monitor. I'm trying to get the 1703FP to work in redhat linux 9.
In the redhat monitor settings, when I press the "Probe Monitor" button, it comes up with "DELL 1703FP" for model name, and 30-80 as Horizontal Sync Range and 56-76 as Vertical Refresh Rate. As far as I can tell, there is no 1703FP driver in redhat 9 (There is a 1702FP driver built in which I've tried with the same results as below)
640x480 at 24 or 32 bit works but any higher resolution and only 256 color works. As soon as I set a higher resolution to 24 or 32 bit, it goes back to 640x480.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to work or the exact refresh rates that I could enter manually?
