Hi, I'm running my near-new 2007FP connected by DVI to a 7600GS video card in my Dimension 9200.   Overall picture quality is very good, save for one maddening issue.  That issue is color bleeding/shadowing from vertical fonts (such as l or i) when the font color should be black and most often against a black white background.

 

The shadowing is always to the right of the font's body and is a reddish brown color.  I've tried every suggestion offered in these forums (that I could locate - including a similar issue discussed here:http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_monitor&thread.id=77200&view=by_date_ascending&page=2 ) for adjusting the monitor with only negligible improvement at best.  

 

The effect is most obvious in Outlook Express using an Arial font but appears in other programs and web pages which use various other fonts.   For example, the word "will" appears in the posting tip above and those two letter Ls are distorted by the bleed.  

 

This monitor replaced a 1905FP which had no such issues and my wife now thoroughly enjoys. 

 

I don't need a tweak sheet as I've tried all the tweaks to be found on this forum... I don't need to be told to change resolution or refresh rate or reset defaults - those things have been done repeatedly.

 

I do need a fix for this issue even if it means a replacement monitor.
