2408WFP Bezel Problems
Hello, my first post after having dell monitors for a while but after taking delivery of my latest, a Dell 2408WFP i need to ask some advice. My monitors bezel has a small issue which is quite distracting, the bottom of the bezel near the buttons sags. This is bad enough for the silver/reflective edge of the LCD unit behind it to show. I broght conditions it shines and is very visble! (although my photos dont show it in its true light you can see the issue. By pressing on the bottom of the monitor the bezel clicks into its correct position but opon releasing it sags back into the condition show:
This is a brand new monitor bought direct from Dell UK.
Whats should i do?
Thanks

It looks like the center snap is not catching. If the monitor is otherwise perfect, I'd try snapping it harder or have someone with strong hands do it. It could be broken catch or something in the way which means it won't help but worth the try.
You have to call support immediately as you wait too long they give you a refurbished

Hi, my part number is 0G286H A00 it seems a shame to RMA it
Im a bit dissapointed really as the monitor is perfect appart from this silver strip
I have tryed to clip it in the rght position but it just snaps back as im not sure where the catch actually is.

What it looks like when watching regular TV (480i/p) or a DVD movie on this 2408wfp monitor using the component and composite video source? Could you please post me some pictures? :smileyhappy:
So far, have you had any answer from Dell or did you contact then in order to solve your problem yet?
Do you think it has happen during the transportation?
Good luck!
