@Sbrown131 The display uses an industry standard USB-C setup of running video, power, and USB 3.x data all simultaneously. The camera would just be essentially a USB camera built into the display and connected to a USB hub also built into the display, and modern cameras typically don’t require drivers. So everything SHOULD work just fine, but it’s also true that especially in the tech world, not everything that SHOULD work always does. So you might want to see if you can find posts here or elsewhere from a Mac user who has tried this display just to get field confirmation one way or the other. Sometimes that’s even more valuable than official documentation.

Camera does not work for macOS Monterey

Hi there, I got his monitor a week ago and updated the firmware.

Disclosure, I am on macOS Monterey beta 12.0 and the camera of the monitor is not recognized. I do not have the camera issue with production version of mac os. I believe apple is releasing the production version of Monterey on Oct 25th and wondering if Dell is also working on updating the driver for the camera on this monitor to work with the newest mac OS about to be released?

I can confirm that monitor webcam and mic doesn't work when you upgrade mac os to 12.1, dell needs to update software and give steps 

I am using the monitor with a MAC mini and HDMI connection, and the camera does not work!

@MyronEsterson​ well yes, hdmi won't do anything for you besides display. You need to use the usb-c input to do anything besides video and audio. You can also use the usb-b to connect the usb-a hub, not personally sure whether that connects to the camera/mic and buttons too. 

Is this still an issue? I am planning to get this screen for my Mac mini, want to be sure that all works, though.

I am using this monitor with Mac Studio 2025 M4 Max with MacOS Tahoe , and can confirm that docking with USB-C cable works, camera and microphone also works.
