DP MST daisy chain from a DA300 dock?

Hello,

Referencing this thread. User's guide says "The mobile adapter only supports a single display out. You can only connect a peripheral to the HDMI port, or DisplayPort, or the VGA port at a time." I think main idea here that you cannot use several different display ports at one time. In case of DisplayPort SMT only one port (DisplayPort) is used. SMT was introduced in DisplayPort v1.2. User's guide says "The mobile adapter supports up to 4K 60Hz. The resolution supported is dependent on the DisplayPort 1.3/ DisplayPort 1.4 support from your computer as well as the 4K support on displays (monitors/ projectors)." So, if DA300 support DisplayPort v1.3 and v1.4 specifications, it should works fine with DisplayPort MST - doesn't it?

I want to buy this device, and I need to clear this situation before a buying.

@ReapedBrain  I just tested my DA300 with a daisy chain of two Dell U2415 displays.  It only recognized one external display attached.  The DA300's mention of DP 1.3 support relates to supporting HBR3 bandwidth levels rather than HBR2 levels of DP 1.2.  That does not imply that it can pass along a DisplayPort MST signal.

@ReapedBrain  The daisy chain I tested with is normally connected to a WD15 dock where it has performed flawlessly for a few years now.  I have a separate daisy chain of a pair of U2717D displays as well.  And no offense, but I've worked in IT for 15 years, and if you look around at my posts, you'll find that I have quite a bit of expertise specifically in the area of displays, daisy chains, USB-C, etc.  The DA300 does not support daisy chains.

@jphughan  Hello, friend. Thank you for your answer. Please check that option MST (or Display Port 1.2 in some firmware versions) is enabled in monitor configuration (howto link) for both displays.
