Input Not Supported Error Message

I bought a new monitor and stupidly changed the display settings in the control panel because the output was larger than the physical screen. Now I have black screen and a message that says Input Not Supported. Tried to use safe mode to change setting back but it wouldn't let me. Need help!!!!

displaced,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

You will need to go into safe mode and and load the standard vga adapter. Once you have it loaded you can then go into Windows normal mode and reinstall the video card drivers back into the system. If you need information on loading a standard vga adapter post this question to Dell - Chris in the video conference forum. He may have an FAQ on how to do this at the top of the video conference forum.
