Monitor not saving settings
I have an E171FPb flat screen which does not appear to save changes to the brightness.
When I switch on, the screen is very bright, so I change the settings to darken the screen or select the factory default. All is fine until the next time I switch the PC on when the display reverts to the bright screen. It doesn't happen every time, perhaps 8 out 10 times.

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Try performing a monitor reset to see if that will resolve the issue that you are having with the monitor.

Is that the same as the Factory Reset setting?
If so that is what I'm using. This setting gives the correct brightness. When switching on, the screen is too bright, so I'm selecting the default setting.
