Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Try performing a monitor reset to see if that will resolve the issue that you are having with the monitor.

Is that the same as the Factory Reset setting?

If so that is what I'm using. This setting gives the correct brightness.  When switching on, the screen is too bright,  so I'm selecting the default setting.
