I think for DDPM to choose PBP, the monitor has to have the PBP ability. Which I do not see in the P2425HE menu  =

Versus say the U3415W which shows PBP in the Menu =

Open your P2425HE Menu. Do you see PBP anywhere? If not, then I would guess that the Common Troubleshooting Steps are incorrect in stating PBP.

Then looks like i am struck with this monitor forever. I purchased this for the sake of pbp. Now this is missing. Looks like we cannot trust dell documentation. This stinks. As i ordered this monitor from flipkart, i this i cannot return this monitor. 

Also i see network kvm option missing. 

Any inputs?

Missing where? In the DDPM software?

Yes after installing,  the network kvm is not visible in both laptops after opening DDPM

KVM is not mentioned P2425HE Monitor Usage and Troubleshooting Guide or in the P2425HE User's Guide. This must be why DDPM network KVM does not show.

May be true. 

But dispointingly there is no pbp which was mentioned.
