P2720DC, using a different replacement panel?
Hi,
My P2720DC monitor panel has a crack in it and it's not covered by the warranty. Since I really like the USB-C feature, I didn't want to just trash it and buy a new monitor. I opened it up and identified the panel as LTM270DL13. A quick Google search didn't find **any** results for LTM270DL13. So I didn’t even find the datasheet for it.
However, there are LTM270DL08 replacement panels for sale. I managed to track down the datasheet for it and the specs don't seem to differ much from the Monitor Specifications of P2720DC. LTM270DL08 should be the panel for U2715H.
Maybe it is possible to replace the broken LTM270DL13 with a working LTM270DL08 panel? I do not care about visual differences, I just want it to work.

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the P2720DC Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please reply to the private message whenever you are available.
Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor internal components, or have monitor disassembly documentation.
