S2716DG, out of sync, vertical line

As others have found, there is sometimes a vertical line with some clipping/overlapping. I've had my S2716DG three weeks and experience it about once every couple days since start. The work around I use is powering the S2716DG off, then back on. Not a big deal, but this is a brand new S2716DG. Annoying in the middle of gaming. As consumers, we should not be dealing with Dell's monitor manufacturer directly for manufacturing defects. Dell, you need to be responsible and push Nvidia for a fix.

All Nvidia G-Sync monitors (see list below) using the AUO (AU Optronics) panel have this intermittent "out of sync" problem. This is due to a Nvidia G-Sync hardware design limitation and not fixable via a monitor exchange, monitor firmware update, or monitor driver. This is a very low occurrence issue and will not be fixed by Nvidia. The result could show any of the following =
- glitch vertical line on side of screen
- screen flicker
- vertical pixelation
- blurry line

The following have all reported this issue =
Acer Predator XB271HU AUO M270DAN02.6
AOC AG271QG AUO M270DAN02.3
Asus MG279Q AUO M270DAN02.3
Asus PG278QR
Asus PG279Q AUO M270Q008 V0
Dell S2417DG AUO M238DTN01.2
Dell S2716DG AUO M270DTN01.5
Dell AW2518H AUO M250HTN01.1
HP Omen AUO M270DTN01.5
LG 32GK850G AUO M315DVR01.0

Workarounds =
* Pause the game or activity, toggle a resolution change from optimal to anything, then back to optimal, restart the game or activity
* Turn the monitor off, then on

The Nov/2018 Nvidia post was left unanswered by any Nvidia official. It's not working. I am happy with the monitor otherwise.
