S2716DG, turn off diagnostics

Hello,

Recently my monitor has started cycling through a diagnostic mode where it flashes a sequence of colors until I manually disable it by turning off "BurnIn mode" in the Factory Service Menu. It only happens when there's no signal detected. So when I first turn everything on, if the input is set to DP instead of HDMI, or when I sleep/power off my machine. Does anyone know how to get this diagnostic to permanently turn off? It's rather annoying having to manually disable it every time I wake my computer up.

Anytime you set the PC to sleep/hibernate or turn the S2716DG off/on, the BurnIn mode will reappear. The only "fix" was to replace those S2716DG  while still in the 3 year warranty period.

Are you serious?? That's highly upsetting. It's way out of the 3yr period. I've probably had it about 6 or 7. I don't even know what prompted this mode to start coming up in the first place

Why the FSM BurnIn mode started appearing was not told to us. A guess based on user descriptions on possible triggers =
A full power outage blackout while the monitor was active on
A limited power brownout throughput to the monitor
A faulty internal component
