U2415, black borders

I recently bought a new ultrasharp U2415 and there is an annoying black border that I can't seem to remove.

  • Dell UltraSharp 24 Monitor – U2415 (1920x1200@60Hz)
  • AMD Radeon R9 280x (latest drivers)
  • Intel Core i7 CPU 870
  • Windows 8.1 Pro
  • x64
  • Tried with both Mini Display Port to Display Port and HDMI
  • Catalyst Control Center-Omega (14.12)

Yes, I have looked at and tried:

Even made a post @ AMD community

Trying here to see if someone can help.

The black border does persist across computers.

My video card has 2 miniDP, a DVI, and a HDMI port

Does the black border show when running the Factory Reset, Self-Test, BID (Built-in Diagnostic)?

Does the U2415 have the same black border issue when connected to a different computer? If no, the monitor is fine. What ports are on the R9 280x video card?
