Just had my monitor replaced by Dell with a newer model U2518D.

Read through the FAQ Dell HDR in the forum but still a bit confused about HDR.

Just received it so haven't had time to set it up. Before I do just need to clarify a few things.

Playback HDR compliant content such as retail 4K UHD movies on PC. What cable should I use to connect the monitor to the PC. Will the supplied DP 1.2 be ok for displaying HDR content or will I heed to use HDMI 2.0? Provided. HDR is enabled in Windows 10. HDR enabled on monitor and a HDR capable player (DVDFab Player 5) is used. Along with HDR complient GTX 1070 video card.

FAQ mentions that HDR requires HDMI 2.0a and Displayport 1.4 Yet monitor specifications show it only has displayport 1.2
