Correct. If you check the online User's Guide for both, you will see that they both use a merged User's Guide, so same specifications.

Just to make clear, no difference other than the cable and both are QHD. Correct?

There is no physical difference in the specifications. The "R" is our designation for retailer sold (Best Buy, Walmart, etc.) monitor. The U2520D ships with a DP to DP cable. The U2520DR ships with an HDMI to HDMI cable.
