U2718Q, gray waves?

Hi Guys, I am writing my first post here to inquire about an annoying, uniform pattern on my Dell U2718Q. This pattern, not visible out of the box, occurs when connecting the monitor to all of mine and my wife's laptops and looks like grayish waves all throughout the frame. It is particularly visible on a white background. I tried to reset the monitor to factory presets and also to run the diagnostics, but no solution or identifiable issue was found. Thanks in advance for help/advise! Best, Valerio

* Was this monitor purchased directly from Dell? If not, you need to transfer the ownership of the service tag number into your name
* We need to see pictures of the issue while running the monitor stand alone/disconnected from PC Built-in Diagnostics, page 51

DELL-Cares will need to see the other colored screens during the Built-in Diagnostics. Via Private Message to them, provide the U2718Q service tag number and 20 digit serial number.

Chris,

Thanks for your reply. The monitor was purchased new from Amazon.

In the picture in attachment you can see the pattern I am talking about.

Best,

Valerio
