U2719DC, USB Type-C not charging, #4

I have a same issue with Dell U2719DC - it won't charge my HP Elite X2 G1 even though this laptop supports PD and works fine with every other PD charger that supplies at keats 40W. Video function and USB Hub works fine. Tried updating BIOS but that did not help.

There will not be a firmware update to "upgrade" the U2719DC from its advertised PD (power delivery) specifications. These are shown in the online U2719DC User's Guide page 9 =

PD 20 V/3.25 A, 15 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 5 V/3 A

I have found out why this monitor does not charge certain PD enabled devices. Most of tablets, docks or ultrabooks require specifically 12V 3A to charge which is a PD standard. This monitor supports only PD 20V/3.25A, 15V/3A, 9V/3A, 5V/3A. Is there any option/chance so it could support 12V in the future (via firmware update) as it would greatly increase the number of supported devices?

Sadly, this is the reason why USB C compatibility of this monitor is limited.
