U2723QE, ghosting problems

Hello! I just bought today an Dell monitor model U2723QE. So far so good with this monitor, but later today after watching a video on YouTube (it was a 3 minute music video) I noticed ghosting with YouTube video recommendations, and the menu, when opening a new chrome page. Did anyone else with this monitor have this problem? Or is mine just a defect one?

Thanks in advance!

Hello! Yes, I have solved my problem.

Long story short I turned the brightness to 100% and contrast to 80%. After searching more on Google I found out that it is not recommended for a brand new monitor to turn on the brightness to 100% during its first 100h of use.

After turning down all of them to the manufacturer default 75% (which is really ok for me, don’t know exactly why I turned them to 100% and 80%) this problem never occurred since. Beside this it’s an excellent monitor, totally recommend.

Our users will need more data from you before they can troubleshoot =

* What PC model?
* What operating system?
* What GPU/video card model is in the PC?
* Explain how the U2723QE is currently connected to the GPU/video card using which cable and ports
* Have you tested all of the available GPU/video card video out ports to all of the U2723QE video in ports = HDMI, DP, USB-C ?

Sorry for not providing this information in the first place. I will take them step-by-step as you asked.
I am using a Macbook Pro with M1 chip
The monitor is connected using the USB-C included cable. I have used this one only because I don't have a HDMI port, or Display-port on my laptop, and neither a USB-C hub to use this ports.
Thanks !

The U2723QE USB-C only provides 90W power delivery back to a Laptop. In your testing, connect the provided Apple AC power adapter to the MacBook Pro.

Open the U2723QE Menu, go to Others. What is the firmware version? I see a macOS firmware M2T102.pkg on the U2723QE drivers page. If your current firmware is newer, do not install M2T102.pgk. While you are in Others, go ahead and run the Factory Reset.

Run the U2723QE Built-in Diagnostics, page 84. Do you see any ghosting on the last a text screen?

Hey there, did you manage to fix your problem? I'm thinking of getting this monitor myself and I'm not sure about it since I have burn-in problems with my current 4k Dell monitor and I thought they might have fixed these issues.

Mersi fain!
