U4919DW, DDM, not working

Greetings,

I just bought a Dell Ultrasharp U4919DW curved monitor. What a monitor! I am very pleased with it! Can't get DDM to recognize it though. I keep getting a "This program requires a supported Dell monitor and connection, and compatible display driver" error.  My system is custom built Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit with all the latest updates including the April 2018 big-update; ASUS Nvidia 1070 8GB video card; DP cable directly connected to the Ultrasharp U4919DW. DDC/CI is enabled (on). I have the latest Nvidia GeForce drivers. I've tried several installs/re-installs of DDM to no avail. The U4919DW itself seems to be working perfectly. I just can't get DDM to recognize it.

Can you help me out?

(for the benefit of others)

I sent swamped207 the diagnostic report from DDM.  They indicated that it looked like a Windows problem.  So I sent screenshots of my display adapter and monitor drivers/setup in Windows 10.  After looking them over it was noticed that TeamViewer drivers were installed in a few places, so I removed TeamViewer completely.

THEN DDM WORKED!  Searching Google it appears that recent Windows updates have caused problems for a variety of software, not just TeamViewer.  So then I re-installed TeamViewer and now everything seems to be running like it should be, DDM and TeamViewer.

Thank you swamped207.  I really appreciate your effort and time to help me trouble-shoot this!!!

While holding down the SHIFT key, right-click on the DDM system tray icon and select "Save diagnostic report" from the popup menu. Then post or make available the diagnostic report you just saved - its an ASCII text file and  will show why DDM isn't recognizing your monitor.

I had some more time to play with this tonight.  I have now tried ALL of the following and still get the same error:

- Tried the latest Windows 10 updates (through today)
- Tried the latest NVidia GeForce drivers, and older versions from late 2017 to mid-year 2018
- Tried several versions of the Dell Display Manager
- Tried another DP cable
- Tried an HDMI cable
(Can't try another PC - I don't have another one)

Any more help or suggestions would be most welcome - Mark

Sorry, I'm not seeing those images. Try closing DDM, then restarting it, and save the diagnostic report. Open the diagnostic report in Notepad, and then copy the text and paste it in a reply here.
