Which 19" or 20" TFT

Just asking for a bit of advice here, as about to purchase my first TFT :smileysurprised:

Looking for a 19" or 20" , had a look at the Dell 1905FP and the reveiws seem ok

any one care to comment on which is best , not going to be used for gaming , just office work etc. Has to be the DVI and Dsub connections.

any help or advice

Well for office work response time isn't going to be a huge issue. The space you need to work will though, so screen size and max resolution are thigns you might want to consider. More than likey the 19" will have a max/ native resolution of 1280x1024...will that

be a comfortable resolution for you to work in because it is recommended you run the native resolution for the best clarity possible. But if you need higher native resolution you might want to consider a larger display such as a 20 in that should have a higher native resolution. for example the 2001fp has a 1600x1200 native resolution, some people have trouble dealing with that high of a resolution so its all up to you. But those are some of the thing i think are most important in yoru situation as you won't be playing games or watching movies primarily..and if you were response time would come into play...lower is better in regard to response time.

The 2001fp would be very nice for your applications. Very, very clear. Make sure that your vid card is compatible though.
