7.2.1 networker client for netware does not list sys vol for recovery

Hi All,

When I use the networkr interface to perform a recovery on my netware server there is no listing for my sys volume. The backups for sys are listed as successfull by the Networker management console. I have another netware server with the same client 7.2.1 and it lists all of its volumes including sys. Any ideas on how I can get networkr to recover my sys volume?

Thanks,

Is the backup you are looking for still in a browsable state?

If it is not, then this may be the reason why you do not see it in the GUI.

Please check how the TSA module is loaded (compare to the other node on which you have not problems) or try to unload it and reload. I have similar problem (but it was cluster environment) and the problem was the TSA module.

Found my solution. We have issues with our netware backups completeing (hangs after about 90 percent done). We had a series of this issue and tapes labeled recycleable not working. This may have caused issues with the index so that only some of the volumes on that server are visible by the networker client.

Manually performed a full backup on SYS and now can see SYS for recoveries.
