Adding NMDA software to NetWorker software repository
Hi,
When I try to add NMDA software to NetWorker software repository, I got this error:
---------------------------------------------------
Repository operation failed.
Failure adding product from>
/path/to/nmda_software
Error spawning the uasm process.
---------------------------------------------------
I have tried to add NMDA 1.2.0.1 for Linux_x86_64. For aix_64, everything is OK.

That's correct. In log we see:
uasm: cannot stat /tmp/H/lgtonmda-1.2-1.x86_64.rpm: No such file or directory
# ls -ltra *.rpm
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root games 23618623 Nov 30 2011 lgtonmda-1.2.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm
so name of rpm either has to change or you need to change entry in LGTO_METAFILE_linux86w_nmda.mf.

Hi Zlatko,
What version of NetWorker are you using? I see that using Software distribution for NMDA is included in the install guide for NetWorker 8, but not for NetWorker 7.6.x:

I have 7.6.4.0.
But, how come that NMDA for AIX is OK?

I just tried the same thing on the test box and I get the same.
# nsrpush -L -m /tmp/H -U
Unix Products on the media kit
================================
NetWorker Module for Databases and Applications 1.2.0.1
linux_x86_64
NetWorker Module for Databases and Applications
# nsrpush -a -U -p "NetWorker Module for Databases and Applications" -v 1.2.0.1 -P linux_x86_64 -m /tmp/H

Hi,
It seems to me something wrong with the software package, But there was an old thread on the community about that error and it is related the to LGTO_METAFILE , It has mentioned that the nsrcpd.raw log file may be helpful to identify the issue:

I am not sure that this is helpful, but opening a case with EMC support is the best for that issue, most probably it is a bug.
