Backup failure shows- Cannot connect to index service
Hi,
we are using EMC v8.1 build 162. with backup server Windows 2008r2 Enterprise (FCXNEMCNETW001)
Can some one help me to fix the attached snap error.
86935: nsrdmpix: Cannot connect to index service on 'fcxnemcnetw001'
42503:nsrdmpix: Remote system error - Unknown error
42952:nsrndmp_save: FCXNEMCNETW001:FCXNVDI_CIFS1 processing NDMP File History failed on 'fcxnemcnetw001'

Thanks for the response,
we have 20% of free space in the drive, moreover we are running under only administrator permission. Much appreciated if helped me to fix.

You really wish to patch that server as you have low build.
It looks like NDMP backup failed and that could be due to space in ..\nsr\tmp or permissions on server. I would also consider patching this to at least latest 8.1.x level if you plan to still use 8.1.x code tree.
