Client Configuration Hangs when configuring Exchange

When I add my Exhange 2003 client to the Networker server it locks up when I try to configure the Backup in the GUI. When I select Exchange from available applications then hit next it locks up. Have to start Task manager to kill the application.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Tim

7.6.b142 might not be the best thing in the world given that is initial release of something considered to be oldish now.  Is this also the version of your server?  Did you already installed module on client (I believe that is required for wizard to work)?

The SQL Module is installed on the Exchange Server and is the most current available. We just switched from a different software to NW. I appreciate the response but we have decided not to do brick level backup anymore so it isn't critical to get this working.

You say that you installed the SQL module.  Just curious, but did you mean you installed the Exchange Module? Or are you using the Microsoft Database/Application Pack?

I was working an issue with SQL Module this morning and mistyped. I actually meant to say the Exchange Module. This module works fine when launching from the exchange server, however when adding the client to the console using the Wizard it hangs when trying to browse after selecting exchange and hitting next.

Thanks

Are you able to configure regular file system backups through the wizard?

Regular file backups through the wizard work fine. I’ve tried rebooting the Exchange server and the NW server and the same issue persists.

Thanks
