Constant "detected hardware change" messages in NetWorker

Hi,

I have the following problem. There is a NetWorker 7.4.3 build 581 running on a Solaris 10 machine with a Quantum PX720 autochanger. The autochanger is connected via FC and it has 6 LTO-3 drives connected also via FC. The problem is that NetWorker constantly reports that a jukebox status changed from "ready" to "detected hardware change" and vice versa. It prevents the storage nodes from using tape drives - looks like NetWorker marks certain drives as non-operational without disabling them. Before the upgrade to NetWorker 7.4.3, there was a NetWorker 7.2.2 jumbo build, and everything ran as needed. Could you, please, tell me, whether there is an option to disable the jukebox hardware status detection in NetWorker 7.4.3, making it working like pre-7.3?

Thank you.

Have you tried recreating the tape drives and the tape library after upgrading? I have found, at times, that I need to recreate all tape drives and tape libraries after a upgrade for things to work properly.

I have observed these messages coming when you are making some manual changes on the library ex. opening the dorr to change media etc or some initialization process happening in the library. It comes back to normal in a few minutes.

Normally, this comes when you have just accessed the library maunally or restarted networker services. Do you get this at any other stage also?

This message can be seen as Anuj noted when library goes offline and online (or something else is accessing it too).
