You should have a 'Correct Answer' button at the bottom of each post on the forum. You just need to go to the post that contained the correct answer and click the button under that.

Can someone please clarify how to bypass or reset the default login credentials for Networker Fast Start 7.6 SP1? The default values administrator/administrator do not work. I have checked everything on forums, in support knowledge base, with no results as to my installation, which is pretty default in values.

Unfortunatelly, tried this already. But went through the procedure once again, at a slower pace, to make sure I do not skip even a character.
It opens the logon screen and after I input administrator/administrator (all small letters), the dialog box says: "Could not authenticate this user name and password, try again!".
I thought that it might have something to do with the server locale, but these are standard layout credentials and there was no room for such an error.
Any help would be highly appreciateda as I have exhausted my debugging capabilities.

Just try Java1.6_26 on any computer with Web-browser and connection to your NMC.
In my eyes Java is a monster regarding automatically performed updates. ;-)

Thanks @guenterH! Java6u25 installed and it's working. What a mess these past couple of hours over something trivial as this...
I am new to the forum, but would like to award you points for the correct answer, maybe the forum admins can help me.

Sorry to miss the reply by @guenterH, and here is what I have: Java 6 update 29 (which I have not downloaded), and Java 7u2 (64-bit). Not quite sure if I can track down the install files for 1.6u29 at Sun website.

Confirm if you GST service is up and running. Also, please provide a screenshot the error that you are gettting. and most important of all you are on a very old and unsupported version of Networker. I would suggest you upgrade your enviornemt at the ASAP,

the credentials administrator/administrator should work if the reset has worked. If you are not using the reports on the NMC then the easiest solution would be to re-install the NMC and configure it as new.
