Directed Recovery keeps failing

Question

Greetings,

Trying to do a directed recovery for the 1st time and it keeps failing.

NetWorker: 7.2.2
Server: RedHat Linux AS3
Administrating System, Source Client, and Target Client (same as the source client) are all Windows 2003 servers.
I followed the instructions in Chapter 7 of the Administrator's Guide.
Selected to recover 1 file with the option to rename the existing file on the target client.

Below is the output from NetWorker User:

Any ideas?

Normally for a directed recovery you need to start the recovery with networker administrative rights. Is the recovering user a networker administrator? If not add the user to the administrator user group.

Look like a permission issue.Are you recovering from destination server ?

No, the Administrating Server is not the Target Client. Again, this is a directed recovery.Vic

Does the user@target has recover local data privilege?

Xander,That was it. The user account didn't have local backup admin rights. Usually I live in the UNIX world so this Windows stuff is new to me.Vic
