Error in nt_lus_get_inquiry --> Unable to configure jukebox
Hi guys,
We have a Windows 2003 SP2 on HP Proliant DL360 G5 as Backup Server. It has installed NetWorker 7.4.1 and when we try to configure a jukebox by jbconfig we get at the end the following error:
Error in nt_lus_get_inquiry; error was 1 Incorrect function.
Besides, if we after run this:
C:\>cdi_inq -f scsidev@2.0.0
it shows:
cdi_open failed: cdi_info.status = CDI_DEVICE_FILE_MISSING (7)
I have checked LGTsc03920 and this fix is included and verified on both Nw 7.3.3 and 7.4.1.
The verification was done using both versions but what about esg83814? Could be that we need the path LGTsc07253? Our real problem is that we have been unable to configure jukebox in NetWorker both 7.3.3 and 7.4.1.
Fact is that the autochanger is created by jbconfig command since NetWorker shows a warning from GUI suggesting to that jbconfig must be used instead. After this, the jukebox is visible from NetWorker but the tapes are independent of it, it seems as if these be standalone drives.
If we run a nsrjb -HENvvvv we obtain a typical error:
No jukebox is available.
and in daemon.log a line appears showing:
RAP error: No jukebox found with name 'X'
I think it's a bug and that the patch is neccesary to configure fine the jukebox. Are we rigth?
Thanks in advanced.
