Hello Pat,

This is clearly a permissions issue, and I suspect that you have UAC (User Account Control) enabled, and this is preventing you to run any process in the background without Administrator Elevation.

This error message in MS world always means permissions denied:

0x80070005

Please run Command prompt as Administrator and run the command again.

If this is not the case then please check the user you are logged in on the Exchange server and ensure that the user has the following permissions:

- Exchange Organization member

- Domain Administrator

- Local Administrator

Thank you.

Carlos.

Hi Pat,

This error message has been treated in several posts. Basically it's still more likely to be a permissions issue.

Please take a look at this one and let us know if you have any further question:

Thank you.

Hi Carlos,

Thank you that seems to have made a difference, I am now getting new errors. I am logged in under my user account which is a domain admin, admin of the server, and have the rights in Exchange. Any more thoughts?
