Exchange 2003 restore with NMM 2.3

Hi

I'm trying to do a restore of a exchange mailbox by using the NMM client and Restore To a Recovery Storage Group.

This does not work. I only get to select the Original Storage Group. The other selection is grayed out with a blue information icon with the followin text

"Storage group does not contain a mailbox database"

Have tired to make a Recovery Storage Group mailbox from the Exchange admin interface. Have also tried to mount it. But keep getting the same message.

Here is the procedure I do when trying to restore:

1. Open up the NMM client

2. Select Exchange Recover Session

3. Select the correct mailstore under Microsoft Exchange Writer

4. Use Advanced Recover session

5. Asked to select Storage Group Restore Destination

• Can only select Original Storage Group. Alternate Storage Group and Recovery Storage Group is grayed out.

Anyone who has seen this behavior before?
